In Syria 75 guerrillas trained by the US
Seventy five Syrian rebels trained by the US in Turkey in the fight against jihadist organization Islamic State entered the weekend in Syria, announced today the Syrian Human Rights Observatory.

"75 young fighters trained in a camp near the Turkish capital (Ankara) entered the province of Aleppo in northern Syria from Turkey, with motorcade 12 vehicles equipped with small arms, machine guns and ammunition, between Friday and Saturday morning, under the protection of air forces of the international coalition fighting the IK "said Rami Abdel Rahman, director of the non-governmental organization that has a large network of information sources across the country.

The 75 rebels are expected to work with two groups supported by the US, one of which is Division 30, according to the Observatory.

The US military began in May to train and equip Syrian moderate rebels, to 5,400 fighters per year to combat IK in Syria as part of a program that is considered a test for the strategy of President Barack Obama have domestic partners fighting the jihadists of IK and US forces to stay off of the front line.

The commander of US forces in the Middle East, Gen. Lloyd Austin, admitted Wednesday to Congress that only "four or five" Syrian rebels trained and equipped by Washington as part of this program, actually fighting on the ground.

Only 54 have been trained. Republican senators then marked that the puller rebel training program "total failure."
