Cairo court today upheld a 20-year prison sentence against former President Mohamed Morsi, according to judicial sources.
This is the first final judgment against the tenons on charges stemming from the killing of protesters during the protest demonstrations in 2012.
The tenons, the first democratically elected president of Egypt, is facing charges in other cases, including leaking state secrets to Qatar conspiracy by armed Palestinian group Hamas in order to destabilize Egypt, organizing mass escape from prison during the uprising in 2011 against Hosni Mubarak.
