The Panama Papers «ate" the Icelandic Prime Minister
Resignation finally submitted by the Prime Minister of Iceland sigmundur davíð gunnlaugsson after pressures from the uproar of the revelations of "Panama" documents and categories that together with his family tried to hide millions from the tax authorities.
Agriculture and Fisheries Minister, Sigkourntour Inge Johansson told the TV station RUV that the prime minister resigned. The energy will be getting the green light from the Independence Party and the president of Iceland, Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson.
Earlier the Icelandic prime minister asked the country's president to dissolve the parliament and call early elections, something that did not happen.
Last night, more than 10,000 people gathered outside parliament, demanding the removal of the prime minister. The sigmundur davíð gunnlaugsson is one of the leaders included in the list that saw the light of day, in the century scandal of tax havens.
