Ten killed in the aircraft crash near New Delhi
Ten people were killed when an aircraft leased by the Border Guards of India engulfed in flames after hit a wall on the outskirts of New Delhi, officials said.
The small twin-engine plane crashed at around 9:50 local time (6:20 GMT) shortly after takeoff from the international airport of the Indian capital and having lost contact with air traffic controllers.
Air Battles Minister Sharma announced shortly after the crash and the death of 10 occupants.
The Super King aircraft had taken off bound for eastern city of Ranchi, stated spokesman of the border security force.
Most of those aboard the aircraft were technicians of power who traveled to the city Ranchi to repair a helicopter there.
The cause of the crash is not yet known, the spokesman said the border security force.
