Eleven immigrants drowned in the Aegean Sea boat sinking
Eleven immigrants, including three children, drowned off the Turkish coast when it sank the boat carrying them to the Greek islands, reported the pro-government news agency East.
Seven other people aboard the ship, which had departed from Kusadasi, opposite Samos, were rescued by the Turkish coast guard said the East which did not specify what the ethnicity of victims and survivors.
The Turkish Coast Guard continues its search and rescue operations by helicopter, reported the private news agency Do? An. It is not clear yet how many total migrants aboard the vessel sank.
