We are constantly increasing the number of small children whose families have found shelter from Syria to Lebanon forced to work with little or no pay, dangerous conditions, according to humanitarian organizations.

Approximately one million Syrians have found refuge in Lebanon, representing 1/4 of the population.

Many of the refugees have no right to work, while entire families are forced to find other ways to cover the costs of their diet, their stay, and health services.

Many entrepreneurs prefer to hire children as' t paid less, while the requirements are minimal compared to adult requirements, supports the organization Freedom Fund.


It is an international initiative to combat human exploitation, according to the Athens Press Agency.

The also adults, are used in forced labor, while women always face the risk of sexual exploitation, according to the report's findings, drawn up by interviewing figures from local officials, refugees, international organizations and local non-governmental organizations active in Lebanon.

"Our findings indicate that forced labor, ever increasing as refugees despair more and more.

According to data from two interviews, forced labor is now so widespread, that is considered the norm in the daily life of refugees ..., "notes the report of the organization.

Evidence of non-governmental organizations operating in Lebanon estimate that 60% or 70% of refugee children from Syria are forced to work.
