D. Bank Approved the construction of 200 homes in Israeli settlements


The Israeli government approved plans to build more than 200 new homes in isolated Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, today announced the organization that opposes Israeli settlement activity Peace Now.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon asked the Israeli civil administration in the West Bank to approve plans to build at least 229 new homes in many isolated Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, told AFP the spokesman of this organization Chagkit Ofran.


These new homes expected to be built in Har Brahma settlements (54) and Revava (17) in the northern part of the West Bank, Ghana Montin (48), Tekoa (34) and Gkivat Ze'ev (76) in the Jerusalem area, explained the spokesman , according to the Athens Press Agency.

The international community considers illegal under international law the Israeli settlement activities in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
Also believed within the international community that the Israeli settlement activities raise obstacles to efforts to achieve peace between Israelis and Palestinians.
