Schulz: EU and the US have not been prepared for a Trump presidency

The US and European Union "not prepared" for a rise of American billionaire Donald Trump in the US Presidency, the European Parliament President Martin Schulz said today.

"Europe has not been prepared, neither the United States for such a president who, in my opinion, has no international experience," said Schultz in the French news network I -Télé.

"The Trump belongs to the people who know them well here in Europe, who have for each thing a scapegoat, but never a concrete solution", assessed by a parallel with the rise of "wild populism" in the EU.

"In the hands of" the power of media, political or military, which has a US president, will allow "real options extremely risky decisions," said Schultz.
"I, frankly, I prefer another candidate," concluded the German Social Democrat leader, without expressing any surprise his support to Hillary Clinton, the favorite for the nomination of the Democratic Party.

The Trump leading the race qualifying for the Republican nomination for the US presidential elections in November, to the great displeasure of the establishment of the party criticized the incendiary rhetoric.

Yesterday, violence erupted in Chicago between supporters of Trump and opposing his candidacy before conducting campaign rally which the billionaire finally canceled at the last minute.
