Cypriot the captain of the Boeing crashed in Rostov




The captain of the Boeing 737-800 of flydubai company today crashed in Rostov-on-Don was Cypriot nationality, announced by the Russian prosecution.

"Fifty-five passengers and seven crew members were killed. Six of the seven crew members were foreigners. The commander was a national of Cyprus," said the agency RIA Novosti spokesman of the prosecution.

Moreover, the vice-consul at the Consulate General of Russia in Dubai announced that a Russian citizen was among the crew and that according to the first public evidence of Spain and Seychelles can be among the victims.

The Ukrainian consulate in Rostov-on-Don announced that at least eight Ukrainian citizens may be located inside the plane.

Source emergency services also said today that the poroto of the two black boxes of the plane was found at the crash site.

Moreover, the Russian Investigation Committee announced that it is considering as probable causes of the accident a pilot error because of bad weather or a technical failure, according to the Athens Press Agency.
