Jordan: Armed attack on officer training center - At least six dead
A Jordanian policeman killed today two American teachers and a South African colleague before their drop dead from fire his colleagues, the day completed ten years a series of bloody attacks of al Qaeda in Jordan, a country-US ally.
A US official explained, speaking on condition not to be named, that American trainers who died were contractors, not civil servants. The US embassy had reported that it was government officials in a statement posted on its website.

Besides the two Americans and the South African also killed a Jordanian, injured other two American trainers, four Jordanian and a Lebanese, according to the representative of the Jordanian government Mohammed Momani. The representative stated that one of the Jordanians injured in a "critical condition."
The actor, 28, had the rank of Superintendent B. He was married and father of two children, according to Jordanian press. Mohammed Momani said investigation to "elucidated the motives of the crime and the circumstances" of which was committed.
