The terrorist attack in Turkey in the German press
The dual terrorist attack that occurred Saturday in Ankara employs the German press and is located on the front pages of major newspapers such as Die Welt, Die Zeit, Frankfurter Allgemeine and the magazine Der Spiegel, as the leader of the Turkish community in Germany has warned of the risk clashes break out between Kurdish and Turkish nationalists even in the country.
The Giokai Sofouoglou in an interview in the newspaper Kolner Sadt-Anzeiger noted that after the Saturday attack fears about the possibility of bloody clashes between Kurds and Turkish nationalists even in Germany.
"As is the atmosphere at the moment in Turkey fear further escalation even here," he said, and added that he has seen many calls for demonstrations on social networking sites.
Moreover, the Sofouoglou noted that there are fans calls the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in retaliation, though stressed that both the extreme Kurdish nationalists and Turkish minority in Germany.
On his part, the head of the Green Party Cem Ezntemir asked the European Union to freeze talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
"We will not have until the elections of November 1st to do anything that could be interpreted as strengthening the Erdogan," said Ezntemir speaking newspaper group Funke Mediengruppe.
"Any agreement would be a message that Erdogan is for us a normal party. But a leader who accepts the death of citizens, police officers and soldiers can not be considered such (normal interlocutor), "he stressed.
"Whoever plunges into chaos the country because he fears that if he loses in the elections should be held accountable to justice for his crimes is not a reliable partner," continued Ezntemir.
