Fishermen rescued 41 shipwrecked migrants on Lesvos

A total of 41 people, 28 men, seven women, of which two in pregnancy and six children, all shipwrecked migrants from Afghanistan, rescued late yesterday afternoon the fishermen of the fishing vessel "Taxiarchis".
The castaways were identified by the Coast Guard on the uninhabited island of Virgin Mary, one of the islets Toukmakia east coast of Lesvos Mandamados.
