The British National Health Service announced today that it responds to a cyber attack, which as reported by hospitals in the country forced them to postpone appointments and refer patients elsewhere.
"We are aware of a cyber-security incident and we are working on a response," said a spokesman for NHS Digital, an NHS addressing an IT issue.
Earlier, British hospitals have announced that they have been forced to refer emergency cases elsewhere after an allegedly cyber-attack at national level.
"Following a supposedly national cyber attack, we are taking all the preventive measures that are possible to protect the NHS's local systems and services," the Merchandise NHS in North England said in a tweet on the tweeter.
