Donald Trump promises to defeat "radical Islamic terrorism"

The US president Donald Trump today reiterated that the US and its allies will win "radical Islamic terrorism" and "death forces", without giving any indication on the strategy to follow or a possible change to approach terrorism compared with that of Barack Obama.

"We will defeat radical Islamic terrorism and we will not allow to take root in our country," stated the base MacDill, in Tampa, Florida, headquarters of the US military command in the Middle East (Centcom) and headquarters of the Special Forces of the US.

"Today we send all together the following message to the forces of death and destruction: America and its allies will defeat you," he said.

The organization Islamic State has served "a genocidal campaign, committing atrocities across the world," Mr. Donald Trump.

"The extremist Islamist terrorists are determined to strike our country just as they did in the attacks of September 11, as did the (marathon) Boston to Orlando and San Bernardino and across Europe."

Also argued, without presenting any concrete evidence to support his words, that some attacks "have not even mentioned" in the media and once again railed "against very dishonest Press" that "does not want to speak for them."

"They have their reasons," he said, without explaining what it means.

Regarding NATO, the head of the American state said he supported strongly the NATO North Atlantic Treaty, but wants all Member States to fully pay their contributions.
