The German authorities arrested a man who claimed to be a senior member of the Islamic state in western town Mouterstat, according to today's report in the Bild newspaper.
The newspaper cited a representative of the Interior Ministry of the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate, which confirmed the arrest. Reported to be a "senior member of IK jihadist terrorist organization," the paper said.
