Two killed in clashes with shootout in Moscow cemetery
Two people were killed and at least 10 were injured in clashes with exchange of fire in one of the largest cemeteries in Moscow today, reported Russian news agencies.
A police spokesman told the Interfax agency that police intervened to disperse the crowd and arrested a total of 50 people who participated in the bloody episodes.
The fight, according to police, may burst in response to competition on who will provide some of the lucrative jobs in the cemetery Chovanskogie, southwest of Moscow.
According to Russian media, at least 200 people participated in these conflicts. The majority were immigrants from former Soviet republics of Central Asia and the Caucasus.
