Senior Taliban officials have confirmed the death of Mullah Mansour


The leader of the Afghan Taliban, Mullah Achtar Mansour, was killed in a raid unmanned US aircraft in Pakistan, admitted late night Sunday executives Islamist rebels, while the leadership of the movement meets to appoint his successor.

The death of Mullah Mansoor manages heavy blow to the armed Islamist movement which is expected to be faced with the breakdown of the forces, as some fighters defected and joined the forces of the local branch of the Islamic organization Kratos.Archigos Taliban since last summer Mullah Mansur succeeded Mullah Omar, founder of the movement after his death.

The Mansour was killed yesterday in a raid carried out by US special forces supported by unmanned aircraft in the Pakistani province of Balûchestan.
