Erdogan "freezes" the EE-Turkey agreement on refugee
Turkey will make no further step in the implementation of the agreement concluded with the European Union on the readmission of refugees and immigrants until there is progress on the abolition of visas for Turkish nationals wishing to travel to the Schengen Area, apologies Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today.
Speaking at the World Humanitarian Summit to be held in Istanbul, Erdogan also underlined that the EU funds promised in Ankara under the agreement have not yet been disbursed.
