Switzerland: The government prevented exports weapons could end up in Yemen



 The Swiss government has prevented military material exports worth about 19 million francs (17.4 million euros) in countries of the Middle East, suspects that could end up being used in the conflict in Yemen, where the final phase of the armed conflict lasts one year.

The government approved exports of military equipment worth about 185 million. CHF in the region, mainly parts and accessories air defense systems intended for Egypt, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, which as claimed Zurich is unlikely to develop in Yemen.
