US Marines in Iraq operation against ISIS
A team of US Marines have deployed to Iraq to support the efforts of the international coalition in the US, in the fight against the Islamic State, said today the US armed forces.
It is part of 26 Rapid Response Unit of the Marine Corps (26th MEU), added to the US military forces conducting special operations, deployed on Iraqi territory and carry out military operations against the Islamic State.
The reported unit's mission is to meet the specific type of ground operations needs, the 5th US naval fleet with premises liability, marine geographic arc of the Persian Gulf, the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and parts of the Indian Ocean.
Special units have an essential role in the emergence of terrestrial objectives through the process katafgasis targets with laser devices, which helps the targeting precision of modern weapons carried by fighter aircraft.
