Turkey: Tens of arrest warrants for attempts to overthrow Erdogan
The Turkish judicial authorities issued arrest warrants Friday against the preacher Fethullah Gülen - enemy of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan - and even against 66 officials, businessmen and other persons, as reported the state news agency East.
A former MP from the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) was among five people arrested in raids conducted across Turkey, targeting "parallel state" that Erdogan accuses former ally that secretly establishes within the police , in the judiciary and in political circles.
All the suspects face charges related to cooperation with a terrorist organization.
Ilhan Ismpilen resigned from the AKP after an investigation of corruption that touched the narrow circle of Erdogan in 2013. The survey was the last straw that brought the break in relations of the Turkish president to Gulen.
Since then, Erdogan has ordered purges within the circles of the police and justice system to dismantle a network, such as supports, conspirators and terrorists operating in the country and abroad.

Among the suspects for whom warrants were issued are Ekrem Ntoumanli, former editor of the newspaper Daily Zaman, the ACN Ipek, chief executive of the business group Koza Ipek (active in the media sectors, energy and mining, in the capital Ankara ) and the President of Fatih University of Istanbul.
It is the first arrest warrant issued in Turkey against Gulen and appreciated that there is little possibility that the authorities of the United States of America to take the issue to Turkey by the state of Pennsylvania, where he lives and works, the preacher, with followers of, by March 1999.
Earlier this week, lawyers hired by the Turkish government submitted to a US court a civil action against the Gulen, for alleged human rights violations in the first prosecution exercised except Turkey, against the preacher.
The Turkish authorities have taken steps to limit the activities of a vast network of educational institutions, which are under the control of Gulen inside Turkey and abroad.
