In eastern Turkey elections began at 7 am and will end at 4pm. In western Turkey, the process began at 8 am and end at 5 pm.
By 6:00 p.m. media are forbidden to transmit any information on elections. Results will be broadcast after 9 pm. Unless there is a decision of the Supreme Election Commission to expedite the transmission of results.
Participation will determine to a significant extent the result. The vast majority of polling has shown that it is likely to avoid a coalition government, as was done after the elections of 7 June.
