Schäuble: Addressing the refugee crisis is the biggest task
German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble estimated that tackling the refugee crisis is now the biggest task of policy, but adds that helping refugees can not be without limits.
"We must help the refugees, who come from countries where wars are raging and seek help to us, otherwise Europe would not be Europe," said Schaeuble, according to the magazine Der Spiegel.
However he added that: "Of course it is true that this aid, like everything in life can not be without limits."
The influx of refugees in Germany "can not be without limits if we are not to lose our ability to offer help and shelter in the future," said the German minister.
