Frontex: changes are needed in the management of immigration crisis

Drastic changes in the management of the refugee crisis in Europe calls for the head of Frontex Fabrice Leggeri, stating that by the end of September the illegal occupants immigrants amount to 630.000.

The EU Member States have to understand that instead of strengthening the police with hundreds of national borders, it would be more useful to strengthen our external borders, that the Lampedusa (Sicily) and Mytilene, which are central to the crisis.

Europe complacent in Greece and Italy, however, the expulsion of those who rejected the asylum application, limited to 39%, because there are countries that refuse repatriation noted the statement of the Frontex Agency.

Realistic behalf of the European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, would be to accept the need for detention centers entered illegally, with a view to deportation and repatriation, said the head of Frontex, commenting that without coordination, unnecessary movement will continue from one country to another.

However, the European Commission agreed to increase by 54% of the costs for Frontex, so the budget of the European Agency for the Management of Operational Cooperation at the External Borders of the EU in 2016 will exceed 176 million euros.
