The Head of the Department of Education of New Democracy, State MP, Mr. Theodore Fortsakis, made the following statement:

"The staffing of educational units in the Greek language education abroad, through the secondment of Greek teachers or extension of their posting, need to be under conditions of transparency and strict compliance with the existing legislative framework.
The protests involved teachers to hitherto stance of the Ministry of Education on this issue show that the leadership adopts once again the "be decided and arranged" eras.
The possible cases of circumvention of the relevant legislation should be identified with certainty and then be treated with rigor, but according to the principle of legality and individual without affected the total value and integrity of our education. "
