I unreservedly support the Greece B support program. Schaeuble
The German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said today that it has absolutely no prejudice and invite fellow members to speak out in favor of the new support program for Greece in Wednesday's vote in the Bundestag, highlighting the dramatic change that occurred in this in readiness Greek Government to implement reforms.
"I can support it with absolute certainty, partly because I did not take myself lightly this decision ... that the right thing is to vote in favor" of Greece's agreement with its creditors, he said Schäuble speaking German public television ZDF .
He described the conditions of the loan to Greece as "very generous", but added that he is convinced that it will take steps that would reassure the IMF for the sustainability of Greek debt and ensure participation.
"I am very confident that we will reach a common assessment and I am also confident that the IMF, the role of which we fully characterize necessary, will participate in this program."
Asked if Greece's exit from the eurozone has now gone from the table, Schaeuble said that this is left in Athens.
