The Top 10 of the lies we write
The lie ... go cloud social media - and the one most commonly foremost used is "I have nothing, so good."
However, it is not alone, according to a new survey.
As in real life, so the web men and women write all kinds of lies on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram - women write more in terms of their costs and men more for communication.
Thus, the most common lies that say women are in order of appearance:
* I have nothing, all good
* A is not new, I've centuries
* It was not expensive
* I got discounts
* Now, I come
* I do not know who is not touched
* I have drunk too
* I have a headache
* No, I threw
* Sory not had time to (SS on the phone)
Similarly to men, the most common lies are:
* I have nothing, all good
* It's my last drink
* No, in what direction fattens
* I did not mark
* Empty battery
* Sory not had time to (SS on the phone)
* Not mild and very
* Now, I come
* It was not expensive
* I have stuck in traffic
The research
The whole survey was based on a special algorithm devised by analysts the Australian advertising group «The Works», who wanted to investigate how much and what kind of lies they say users of social media.
So, they cooperated with Dr Coastline Sud, an expert in integrating new technologies into the operational programs of the Institute of Advanced Analytical University of Technology Sydney (UTS).
As they explain on the project website, called Datafication, their first move was to create the algorithm based on what is known to detect false in online writing.
Overall, the algorithm contains 4553 indicators, which include the use of emoticons and use of the personal pronoun in the first person (I, me, me).
Based on all of these indicators analysts reviewed over half a million randomly selected posts from the three platforms, grading and sorting.
More than half found that wrote lies, women say most but for different reasons than you men.
"In many cases women write lies to feel well the receivers of their posts, while men write lied to make themselves look good," said project leader Datafication Douglas Nicholl.
Countries
The survey also showed how many lies told by the various peoples.
'Champions' in online falsehoods emerged women of Australia, with 64% having beautified or make false statements to Twitter, Facebook or Instagram, versus just 36% of their male compatriots.
In individual cities, however, most women say lies New York, followed by women of Perth, Manchester, Cardiff and Edinburgh.
In the sixth position of online liars are the men from Brisbane, and seventh women from Adelaide. Followed by the women of Los Angeles and Melbourne, while the closing ten men from Los Angeles.
