USA: From trauma to the head Putin partner died, Michael Lesini
Former press secretary of Russia Mikhail Lesini, who was found dead in a Washington hotel last year, died from head trauma from a blunt object, said US authorities yesterday.
The Lesini, who was once head of state eidiseiografikou Gazprom-Media giant (Gazprom-Media), also brought injuries from blunt object in neck, torso, arms and legs, said the chief medical examiner of American capital and the Metropolitan Police department in the brief statement.
According to the report of the incident by the police, the Lesini, who was press secretary from 1999 to 2004 under the presidency of Vladimir Putin, was found unconscious on the floor at Doyle Washington hotel on November 5 by a person who entered the room to check his condition. Ambulance was called, and his death was found on the spot.
The television channel RT Russia, citing relatives of the time, said he had died of a heart attack.
The US channel ABC News said that the accused had Lesini censored independent media in Russia. He became director of Gazprom-Media Holding in 2013 but resigned the following year.
