President Trab accuses Ukraine of helping Hillary Clinton pre-election

US President Donald Trub criticized today the investigation into Russia's alleged involvement in the presidential election in 2016 and at the same time questioned, without providing evidence, Ukraine's support for its opponent, Democrat Hillary Clinton.

In two of the tweets he spoke early on Twitter, Trab also said that Justice Minister Jeff Sesions had "a very weak attitude" towards Clinton, citing "the Ukrainian efforts to sabotage his election campaign" and arguing that Kiev "Was working quietly to promote Clinton."

However, the president did not give any further details or evidence of the possible role of Ukraine in the presidential elections in the United States.

The spokesman for the Ukrainian president did not respond directly to a request from the Reuters news agency to comment on the issue. The Ukrainian embassy in Washington, however, denied that Kiev tried to influence the US elections. "We are in the statement that the government of Ukraine has not helped any candidate in the elections. Ukraine is proud of the inter-party support in the US", she said, the text posted on Twitter by the Ukrainian diplomatic mission.

Ukraine's Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe, Dmitry Kuleba, also commented on Twitter: "Tramp writes that we were involved in the US elections, while Putin says we are threatening Russia, once we were peaceful, introverted black-grown growers."

The US intelligence services have come to the conclusion that Russia has tried to intervene in the elections. Moscow denies it, while Trab says his pre-election staff did not cooperate with the Russians.

This information is being investigated by US Congress committees and by a federal prosecutor.
