The perpetrator of the attack entered the Louvre in France on January 26 in Dubai


The man who attacked a military patrol at the entrance to the Louvre this morning arrived in France on January 26 by air from Dubai, as it became known from sources close to the investigation.

The suspect, "which was unknown to the police of France", allegedly born in Egypt and is 29 years old, explained the same sources. This information is derived from the statement made when he requested a visa approval. The authorities continue their investigation to establish his identity.

Another source said that the person who traveled with this visa, "came in France on 26 January."

The perpetrator attacked with machete in a soldier, in the Louvre entrance shouting "Allah Akbar". Other soldiers shot and seriously wounded in the abdomen.

The anti-terrorist service is started on the case investigation. The afternoon police searched a building in a street near the Champs Elysees in the 8th arrondissement of Paris.

The Paris prosecutor Francois Molen going to give a press conference on the subject around 21.30 tonight (GMT).
