The Trump calls on Israel to "stay strong" to take office

Donald Trump accused today the outgoing US President Barack Obama to make "inflammatory statements" and that puts "obstacles" hindering the political transition and the handover of power to the new Republican government.

"I am doing my best to ignore the many obstacles and inflammatory statements by the Chair The. I thought the transition would become serenely. BUT NO!" He wrote on Twitter the Trump, without specifying either what the obstacles or what Obama refers statements.

Two days after the presidential election, the two politicians had met in the Oval Office and stressed that their intention is to proceed in a smooth transition. Obama, who will be leaving the White House on January 20, said "sure" on Monday that would win the elections if the constitution allowed him to run for a third consecutive term.

With two other messages on Twitter, the Trump reiterated its support of Israel, after the resolution adopted last Friday by the UN condemning the continuing settlements in occupied territories.

"We can not continue to let Israel treated with complete contempt and disrespect. I once had a great friend in the US, but ..." Trump wrote in his Twitter account and continued:

"Not now. The beginning of the end was horrible agreement with Iran and now this (UN)! Israel, stay strong, January 20th is coming quickly!", Referring to the date you will assume presidential duties.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded by thanking "for the warm friendship and unconditional support for Israel."

For the first time since 1979, the US has not vetoed the UN resolution on settlements, provoking the wrath of Israel. Their abstention from voting allowed for the adoption of the decision of the 14 other Security Council members.
