Sanctions against Russia are designed to "crammed" D'. Trump, says adviser

A close adviser to elected US president Donald Trump, Kelly Conway, today criticized the sanctions imposed by the White House in Russia, whereas the objective of the outgoing President Barack Obama is to embarrass his successor.

"I do not think that even at the height of the Cold War deported to the country so many agents," said Conway in an interview on CNN television network.

According to Conway, many believe that the sanctions are intended to "squeezed" by Trump and limit the room for maneuver in the face in Russia when it takes over the presidential duties on 20 January. "It would be unfortunate if the main motivation (sanctions) were political. It does not work for a peaceful government in our great democracy," he said.

But when asked if Trump would lift sanctions, the Conway refused to answer.

According to the Kremlin New Year message to the Trump Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed hope that the two countries improve their relations after the inauguration of the tycoon.
