Britain: Most companies consider outsourcing abroad after Brexit
Three quarters of UK company directors are considering the possibility to relocate abroad after the referendum on leaving the European Union, according to a survey published today. The KPMG survey of 100 directors of British companies that have revenue of 100 million pounds to 1 billion pounds (euro 115.4 million to euro 1.15 billion), showing 86% of them feel confident about the growth prospects their companies, and 69% feel the same about the growth prospects of the UK economy over the next three years.
However, 76% said they are considering whether to transfer their seat or their activities outside the UK because of voting "Brexit" (out of the EU) on 23 June. "The CEOs react to the prevailing insecurity with preparedness plans," said Simon Collins, director of KPMG UK, belonging to the international firm of accountants and consultants. "More than half believe that Britain's ability to function properly will be disturbed only out of the EU, and this, for many CEOs is important to kyttaxoun different perspectives to face future shocks," he added.
