The US 'examine documents "sent by Turkey for the issue of Gulen

The United States evaluate new documents sent by Turkey on the issue of cleric Fethullah Gülen, which accuses Turkey as the "brain" of the recent failed coup in the country, said Foreign Ministry spokesman yesterday. "Our Turkish authorities (did) successive deliveries documents and we are in the process of examining these documents," said State Department spokesman Mark Toner on established press briefing.

He added that the first delivery of documents "does not, we believe, a formal extradition request". He also said, "After that we and other documents. The look (...) I do not think that they have come to such a conclusion yet."

The Justice Department is the material responsible for the examination of the documents to determine whether equivalent to formal extradition request for Gulen, who lives in exile in the eastern state of Pennsylvania in 1999. Turkish officials, among them the Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, have warned that the ties of their country with the US disrupted if America refuses to issue the
