Ongoing conflicts in the south of Aleppo city in Syria

Sporadic clashes today in the southern outskirts of Aleppo, a day after an Islamist jihadist rebel alliance and announced that broke the siege that had been imposed in the last three weeks the forces of the Syrian regime.

The Islamists claim to have captured the suburb Ramousa south, forming a "bridge" to the eastern suburbs of Aleppo controlled by anti-government rebels. However, the road remains dangerous for civilians, emphasized the director of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, speaking of "fighting and sporadic air strikes, less intense" than the previous days.
"Not one citizen not left the eastern suburbs because the road is very dangerous and not at all safe," explained Rami Abdel Rahman speaking AFP.

On Saturday, the rebels initially occupied several buildings in a military academy in the southwestern edge of Aleppo. Then they promoted and occupied the suburb Ramousa from which can now communicate with the eastern suburbs besieged by the scheme since July 17. Photos released by the rebels deichnouns of fighters to embrace and celebrate the lifting of the siege.

The official Syrian media, however, refute that the siege was broken, transmitting that fighting continued. "Terrorist organizations suffer huge losses and were unable to break the blockade of the districts of Aleppo" aired late Saturday night the official Sana agency quoted a military source. "The Syrian army, in coordination with the coalition forces, continues the battle of the south of Aleppo," he added.

The agency spoke for 10 civilians killed by insurgent bombings in two districts controlled by the regime. According to the Syrian Observatory, at least 130 people have been killed since July 31, when the rebels launched their offensive in the region. In fighting has killed more than 700 gunmen from both sides, but most were dissident fighters due to the "air superiority" of the regime.
