US: No vote was taken on the possession of weapons in the House of Representatives
Members of the Democratic Party failed today to bring to a vote a bill that limits access to firearms, ten days after the bloody attack in Orlando, despite the unusual sit-made in the US Congress.
With the support of Barack Obama, democratic deputies began yesterday, Wednesday, this sit, unique in the recent history of Congress, urging the President of Parliament Paul Ryan to use his hammer to convene a meeting late into the night.
Ryan, who described the sit "promotional gimmick", but refused to allow a vote on two bills calling for the Democrats: one expands the background checks ypofifion buyers before any gun purchase in trade fairs or on the Internet and the other blocks to acquire weapons persons included in the lists of those who have been monitored for terrorism.
The Republican majority categorically denies any question of the right to gun ownership, which is included in the Constitution.
