USA: The Sanders defeated Clinton in the qualifiers in West Virginia
The candidate for the Democratic nomination for the election of President Bernie Sanders defeated Hillary Clinton in qualifying in West Virginia yesterday, slowing its progress towards the nomination of the party. Despite the setback, Clinton is considered the favorite to become the Democratic candidate in the presidential election on November 8.
But the defeat of yesterday may indicate difficulties will Clinton voters with the working class and in states such as Pennsylvania and Ohio, whose economy is largely based on coal and steel production. In March, Clinton told a gathering in Ohio that the government would close the mines and will eliminate the jobs of miners. Last week in West Virginia and Ohio Clinton apologized several times to unemployed miners and workers in the steel industry, saying that the words of the misunderstood, and discussed the draft of help in retraining miners for clean energy jobs.
The Trump won West Virginia with comfort yesterday, and ridiculed the former foreign minister saying that he can not manage to beat Sanders.
