Syrian opposition forces captured the city al-Rai to the border with Turkey
Guerrilla forces of the Syrian opposition captured yesterday, a town near the Turkish border north of Aleppo.
The city of al-Rai, was the stronghold of the jihadists of the Islamic State in the region, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, but sources close to the rebels.
Rebel forces of the Free Syrian Army, using weapons coming from Turkey and other foreign forces occupied the town after heavy fighting with the jihadists.
The rebel forces are promoted as having ultimate objective of military operations to recapture the city raccoons, which is the so-called capital of the Islamic State.
