Erdogan's confrontation with the opposition leader about who is "crooked politician
A comment which made the head of Turkish opposition against a minister, which was considered sexist, fueled the whole week a fierce political confrontation and recrimination turn to the country, while today the President Recep Tayyip Erdogan rushed to defend women.
The controversy began Tuesday when the chairman of the Republican People's Party (CHP), Kemal Kilicdaroglu, railed against the Minister for Family and Social Policy issues, Shema Ramazanoglu, which complain that incorrectly handled a case of sexual abuse in religious schools.
"The Minister for Family matters, has not spoken, leaning forward in some," said he.
Considering that this statement is sexually suggestive, the head of the Turkish state responded immediately.
"The pervert who committed these (sexual abuse) is in prison. Now, what to do with their political perverts? "Countered the Turkish president.
"Cursed are those who insulted by political style," he added in the order of Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.
