Washington warns that the threat of terrorism grows in Turkey

The State Department "warns US citizens about the increased threats from terrorist organizations throughout Turkey" and calls Americans "avoid traveling in southeastern Turkey," underlined in this announcement.
Still, the American Foreign Ministry notes that commanded to leave the family members of workers in the US consulate in Adana and civilian employees of the US government in the provinces of Izmir and Mugla.
Furthermore the Pentagon calls the families of military personnel based in Adana, Izmir and Mugla to leave these areas.
