Roth: immediately accept Germany 28,000 refugees from Greece
The Claudia Roth, Member of the Green Party and vice president of the German parliament said in an interview to the journalist group "RedaktionsNetzwerk Deutschland" Hanover (Leipziger Volkszeitung, Hannoversche Allgemeine, Märkische Allgemeine), that the German government should "accept 28,000 refugees in straight from Greece, which corresponds to the German share of pan-European distribution of 160,000 refugees, "he said.
The Rotary also sharply criticized the agreement between the European Union and Turkey:
"Europe lost this agreement the soul and sold out its values", while supporting the agreed financial assistance to Turkey, as the country has accepted more refugees from all along the EU countries, but criticizing the Europe as "the exchange of Syrian refugees is an absurd plan, an incredibly dirty trafficking" as the German politician said.
Moreover, Europe 'was forced into a vow of silence towards Turkey. No criticism (no) longer and internal conditions which result in Erdogan's authoritarian regime "and so the EU becomes "co-responsible in the collapse of democracy and the rule of law in Turkey," stressed Claudia Roth.
