Turkey bombs fourth day Kurds in Syria
The Turkish artillery retaliated "respectively" fire in Syria, said military sources today, the fourth day of the bombing by the Turkish artillery.
Turkey warned yesterday the militants of Kurdish militias in northern Syria that will be faced with the "toughest reaction" if they try to occupy a city near the border with Syria and accused Russia on a missile attack in Syria that killed at least 14 civilians.
There were known more for yesterday's bombing.
Nearly 50 civilians were killed when missiles struck yesterday at least five medical facilities and two schools in areas controlled by the rebels in Syria, according to the United Nations, which characterized the attacks flagrant violation of international law.
At least 14 people were killed yesterday in the town of Azaz in northern Syria, the last stronghold of the rebels before the border with Turkey, where missiles hit a children's hospital and a school that housed refugees, according to the Athens Press Agency.
For its part, the Kremlin categorically rejected today the accusations that Turkey committed a war crime in Syria.
"We categorically reject such statements especially since every time those who make these statements are not able to prove their accusations unfounded in any way," said the representative of President Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Peskov, told reporters at a press conference.
Meanwhile, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that Turkey will continue to take preventive measures in order not to intervene in the war in Syria.
Davutoglu made these statements in a speech to members of the ruling Justice and Development (AK) in parliament.
Turkish Prime Minister vehemently condemned the air strikes carried out by Russia in Syria, calling them "barbaric", "cowards" and "merciless".
"Since September, these barbaric, cowardly and merciless planes bomb Syria without making any distinction between civilians, children and soldiers," he said.
