Serbia wants an explanation from the US for bombing building with hostages Serbs
The Serbian government requested an explanation from the US for the death of two employees of Serbian Embassy in Tripoli, where they were kidnapped on 8 November 2015.
The two employees of the embassy, the Slatzana Stankovic (Communications Manager) and Jovica Stepits (driver embassy) were killed yesterday in the bombardment by US aircraft, building the city Sampras, for which the US believed that it is used as a training camp of the Islamic state.
Inside the building was held hostage by two employees of Serbian embassy and possibly other foreign nationals. During this airline company killed 41 people, said the Libyan authorities.
The Prime Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić at an extraordinary press conference, said he asked the US to explain if they knew that the building was bombed held hostage and said that unofficially received the reply that it was not known to the US security and intelligence services.
Aleksandar Vucic said that the Serbian secret service was in constant touch with the security services of the official state of Libya, and various parastatal organizations operating in the area and was very close to the release of the hostages.
"We were so close to release them to feel distressed and angry that anticipated our American bombing," said the press conference Aleksandar Vucic.
Earlier today Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said that the Serbian Intelligence Agency (BIA) knew the location and exact building where Serbs were detained, and other foreign hostages, and that the information that they have received from the Libyan security services and USA.
"I can not understand what happened and why we requested explanations from the US, to answer us because we ignored this information, there was a problem in communication between the services and the military operations center planned bombing or did something else?" Wondered at the press conference Ivica Dacic.
The US ambassador in Belgrade Kyle Scott, during the telephone conversation he had with Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, expressed regret for the death of two citizens of Serbia, however, not provided explanations for the questions posed by the Serbian government but also the common opinion.
