Beijing closed 2,500 small businesses, to tackle air pollution

Beijing plans to close 2,500 small polluting enterprises this year as part of efforts to reduce air pollution, reported news agency New China today. Four districts in the capital, where air pollution levels broke every record this winter, you should proceed to the closure of 2,500 companies by the end of 2016, and more are expected to close next year, according to the Chinese news agency.

Citing an official, who did not wish to be named, the agency notes that the increasing levels of pollution with low polluting sources such as restaurants, hotels and parking lots offset the impact of the sharp drop that is put down on pollution levels caused by polluting industries and companies with high energy consumption in the city.
