Immigrants and jihadism in the background of a referendum on security in Denmark
The very Eurosceptic Denmark organizes today a referendum to boost its participation in European security programs, a referendum which promises battle with breast chest between the jihadists fear attacks and the influx of immigrants.
The referendum takes place three weeks after the attacks in Paris which killed 130 people. She was planned for 2016 but conducted earlier in order to avoid interference in the referendum that Britain is expected to hold in 2017 for its participation in the European Union (EU). The referendum was approved in principle in December 2014 by a majority of the parties represented in parliament, despite opposition from the Danish People's Party (Dansk Folkeparti, DF).
