The Dora. Cameron visited Syrian refugee camp in Beirut
O British Prime Minister David Cameron arrived today in the capital of Lebanon, Beirut, where he visited refugees from neighboring Syria, while earlier appointed MP Richard Harrington responsible for relocation of Syrian refugees to ensure that upon arrival in the country will have "one warm welcome."
Richard Harrington will be responsible for coordinating the government's work on the relocation of up to 20,000 Syrian refugees in the country, and to coordinate the provision of government assistance to Syrian refugees in the region, while it refers primarily to the Interior Minister.
Cameron, who made his first visit to Lebanon as prime minister, met a refugee family from the Bekaa Valley, who lives in a camp in the Lebanese capital and will be transported to Britain.
Later today, he will meet with Lebanese counterpart Tamam Salam, as reported Lebanese media.
