Turkey: the CHP not participate in interim government
The party of Turkey's main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP), will not take part in an interim government which will involve different parties before early elections if the pro-Kurdish opposition Democracy Party People (HDP) refuse to participated today said a senior official of the CHP.
"If the HDP is not participating in this government elections, neither we ... will partake in this," he told Reuters the deputy chairman of the party's parliamentary group, Engin Altay, according to the Athens agency.
In Turkey it is possible to hold early elections after the failure of Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu to form a coalition government with opposition parties after weeks of consultations.
