About 20 states and international organizations sent Sunday appealed from Rome to enter into force immediately a ceasefire across Libya and soon formed a unity government in order to put an end to the chaos that reigns in the country.
A national unity government "based in Tripoli" is "needed to be addressed in cooperation with the international community, the critical challenges facing the country is facing the humanitarian, economic sector and security sector" pointed these countries a joint statement after the end of the International Conference co-chaired by Italy and the US.
"We urge all parties to accept an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire throughout Libya," added the statement, confirming the commitment of the international community to provide a humanitarian aid to the residents.
