Trab talked with the Saudi king, stressing the need for unity of the Gulf countries

US President Donald Trub spoke to Saudi Arabian King Salman yesterday and stressed the need for unity among the Gulf countries, a senior White House official said following a decision by the Arab states to break diplomatic relations with Qatar.

"His message was that we need unity in the region to fight the ideology of the expedition and the financing of terrorism. It is important that the Gulf is united for the peace and security of the region," said the White House official at Reuters.
