Five people, four men and one woman were killed in a shooting incident in a workplace in Orlando, Florida, became known by the Serifi office in Orange County, who added that the situation is now under control.
The sheriff reported that a 45-year-old man armed with a revolver and knife seems to have killed five people. The offender then committed suicide while he was a former employee who had recently been fired by the company in Orlando.
"This person was a former employee of the company that was fired in April," said Jerry Deming, a county officer of Orange County.
The officer pointed out that the incident does not seem to be linked to terrorism. "We are investigating this tragic incident now" was the message that sheriff posted on Twitter.
Citing sources not identified by law enforcement agencies, the WFTV television network reported earlier that four people were killed while the perpetrator was dead.
Shooting took place in an industrial area where many warehouses are located in Forshey Road and Hanggin Moss Road, according to the Sheriff's office.
Meanwhile, statements at WFTV made a woman claim that her sister was in the bathroom when she heard a loud click on the office. Just out of the room he saw a man falling on the floor.
"My boss is dead," said the woman to her sister in a telephone conversation they had.
